For the past six months or so, I've been working on various projects with the hopes of creating a sustainable income. Some of these projects (say, Guess That Fart) are more intended for making money while others are more for my own interest (BASKETYALL). They are all software-related, though I am not opposed to other kinds of business ventures. I am focusing on software stuff for now since that is where my background is and I enjoy it most of the time. And I'd love to make a very successful mobile app.
The main impetus for me to start a blog on this site was to chronicle my attempts at marketing. This will help me organize my experiences and lessons learned, as well as potentially be marketing in itself, similar to this story. It also could be helpful should I decide to freelance or look for another job in the future.
And who knows, I've never had a blog before so maybe I'll be tempted to write other stuff. Though all my basketball-related pieces will be on BASKETYALL!
